Ten new Rewindo collection points

Rewindo can announce ten new partners in the expansion of its network of regional collection points. The now total of 55 locations are intended to complement the nationwide collection service for disused plastic windows, roller shutters and doors, in particular by accepting smaller quantities of up to 10 windows and passing them on to the Rewindo recycling system. The service is now also offered by G. Schönemann Entsorgung GmbH, Dessau-Roßlau, Kilb Vetter Entsorgung GmbH in Bad Nauheim and Kelkheim, KVE Maintal GmbH, Maintal, MCR GmbH & Co. KG, Marienheide, Metalgo e.K., Neuburg am Inn, Peiner Entsorgungsgesellschaft mbH, Hohenhameln-Stedum, R. Zens GmbH, Rheinstetten, Richard John GmbH, Henstedt-Ulzburg, and Wiro Entsorgung GmbH from Rhede-Brual.

Assembly teams and smaller craft businesses as customers in view

With this offer, Rewindo primarily wants to address installation teams and smaller craft businesses: "Our recycling partners already recycle about two million plastic windows within the framework of our Rewindo system every year, which corresponds to a recycling rate of just under 85 percent. We want to increase this even further and are therefore focusing more on the smallest quantities. After all, every single old plastic window that ends up in our recycling system instead of being incinerated is a valuable raw material for us," says Rewindo Managing Director Michael Vetter.

Interested disposal companies can contact

The goal is to expand the network of regional collection points even further and to gradually establish local locations nationwide. Rewindo is therefore still looking for partners from the waste management industry. In addition to the collection of small quantities, the additional acceptance of large quantities is not an exclusion criterion. "In principle, there are only two prerequisites: The willingness to accept not only, but also smaller quantities and the exclusive cooperation with our recycling partners. Of course, companies that have been cooperating with our recyclers for a long time but are not yet official collection points can also register with us," says Vetter about the conditions. The listing is free of charge, and there is no additional administrative burden for the companies. Quantities do not have to be reported to Rewindo. The website can be found at List of regional collection points including map of locations on the Rewindo website.
