Established recycling routes as a solution for selective dismantling were presented by the PVC Recycling Campaign in mid-February at the 25th edition of the Demolition Conference in Berlin. The initiative, in which AgPR, AGPU, IVK Europe, KRV, Rewindo, Roofcollect and VinylPlus® was once again represented at the international industry get-together with a joint stand to provide participants with detailed information about PVC recycling solutions throughout Germany. An offer that is meeting with steadily growing interest from demolition contractors: "Whether for floor coverings, roofing membranes, windows, doors, roller shutters, tarpaulins or pipes, the demand in the demolition industry for recycling routes for our PVC products is constantly increasing. In addition to familiar faces, we were also able to welcome many new guests to our stand this year and significantly increase the number of contacts with potential customers once again," says Michael Vetter, Managing Director of Rewindo. He was joined by Karin Arz, Managing Director of IVK Europe and Roofcollect, and Dr Jochen Zimmermann, Managing Director of AgPR, who were also represented at the stand.
Successful format with steady growth
Steady growth, which Europe's largest meeting place for the demolition industry can also proclaim for itself as an event: "In the 25 editions of the Demolition Conference, there have been around 12,300 participants as well as around 1,370 exhibiting companies and exactly 478 presentations. For the anniversary, we can report a further increase in popularity (...). The mark of more than 1,000 participants was reached and the increase in rented exhibition space by more than 30 percent compared to the previous year underlines that the Demolition Conference is being accepted by the industry (...)", said Andreas Pocha, Managing Director of the German Demolition Association (DA), which organises the event, in his opening speech. In addition to the trade exhibition, the conference offered a wide range of specialist presentations following the keynote speech by CDU politician Wolfgang Bosbach. The programme also included the presentation of an innovation award and an evening of dialogue.
New flyers, revised website
On this occasion, the representatives of the PVC Recycling campaign also brought along a new flyer in German and English, which contains all the important information and contacts. This also applies to the completely revised website with its new look, which helps waste owners to find a recycling solution. This is often just a click away.
