Another record number of visitors and great interest in recycling solutions for PVC building products characterised Europe's largest industry meeting for demolition and dismantling at the end of last week. Andreas Pocha, Managing Director of the German Demolition Association, welcomed around 1,200 trade participants to the international event in Berlin after a two-year break due to corona.
As in the years before the pandemic, the joint stand of "Aktion PVC-Recycling" was also very well attended. In the many discussions on site, it became clear that the proven nationwide recycling solutions for PVC building products, such as floor coverings, roofing membranes, windows, roller shutters, doors, tarpaulins and pipes are also playing an increasingly important role for the demolition industry.
In cooperation with VinylPlus® AgPR, Arbeitsgemeinschaft PVC-Bodenbelag Recycling; Rewindo GmbH Fenster-Recycling-Service; KRV, Kunststoffrohrverband e.V.; IVK Europe as well as VinylPlus Deutschland e.V. join forces as "Aktion PVC Recycling" to promote PVC recycling in Germany even better.
