Last week, the first meeting of our successful „PVC recyclers meet PVC processors“ event series took place this year. A total of 25 recycling experts from the entire PVC value chain came to our member company PreZero Kunststoffrecycling GmbH & Co. KG in Westeregeln to continue discussions on the further development of PVC recycling and to exchange experiences and requirements in recycling. Among other things, the focus was on expanding the recycling of post-consumer waste streams and soft PVC. Following the meeting, there was also the opportunity to take part in a tour of the company's pipe recycling plant and experience PVC recycling live on site.
The participants travelled from all over Germany and Poland to take part in the exchange. This once again illustrates the importance of the circular economy for companies in the PVC industry.
The meeting was organised by VinylPlus Germany in cooperation with Rewindo GmbH and was held as part of the VinylPlus® communication projects. The next event in the series will take place on 09.12.2025 at profine in Pirmasens.
